Disclosures
How this site works, in plain terms.
A referral service
PiketonLandClearing.com connects landowners in Pike County, Ohio and nearby areas with independent contractors. It does not clear, mulch, grade, grind, haul, or burn anything, and it does not employ the contractors it refers.
One contractor per request
Each request goes to one contractor who serves your area, not to a list of companies.
The contractor is responsible for the work
The contractor you hire is responsible for their own permits, pricing, workmanship and warranties, and any agreement is between you and them.
Not a government site
This site is not part of, or affiliated with, Ohio EPA, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Pike County, Scioto County, Ross County, any city or village, the Department of Energy, or any developer. It describes rules and links to official pages, but only those offices can approve a permit or say how a rule applies to your land.
Calls may be recorded
Calls to the number on this site may be recorded for quality and to confirm referrals.
Brands and sources
No equipment maker sponsors or endorses this site. Rules, fees, and prices on these pages come from the government pages they link to and from the national cost guides they name. They are general information, not legal advice. The office that issues a permit, and your contractor's written quote, are what count.
